Terms & Conditions
Last updated: September 5, 2026
Welcome to Rubber Roofing Contractors. These Terms & Conditions explain the rules for using our website and working with us on any roofing project. Please read them carefully. By requesting a quote, booking a service, or using this website, you agree to the terms set out below.
If you have questions about anything here, we’re happy to help. You’ll find our contact details at the end of this page.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website or engaging our services, you confirm that you accept these Terms & Conditions and agree to be bound by them. These terms apply to all clients, including:
- House builders
- Social housing contractors
- Local authorities
- Schools and NHS Trusts
- Private companies
- Domestic individuals
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.
2. Description of Services
Rubber Roofing Contractors provides professional roofing installation, repair, and related services across North Wales. Our work includes, but is not limited to:
- Firestone EPDM rubber roofing — durable single-ply rubber roofing systems for flat roofs
- Slate and roof tiling — installation and repair of slate, tile, and composite slate roofs
- Sika flat roofs — liquid plastic flat roof systems backed by the manufacturer
- Lead work — lead valleys, flashings, and full lead roofing installations
- Fascias and soffits — supply and fitting of high-quality PVCU roofline boards
We are approved installers of Marley roof products, Sika Liquid Plastic flat roof systems, and Firestone EPDM single-ply rubber roofing systems. We handle projects of all sizes, from large-scale developments to individual domestic repairs.
The exact scope of any work will be agreed in writing before your project begins.
3. Quotations and Estimates
We offer free, no-obligation estimates to help you plan your project with confidence.
Please note the following:
- Quotations are based on the information available to us at the time and remain valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
- Prices may be revised if the scope of work changes, if unforeseen issues are discovered (for example, hidden structural damage), or if material costs change significantly before work begins.
- Any variation to the agreed work will be discussed with you, and additional costs will be confirmed before we proceed.
- An estimate does not create a binding contract until the work is formally accepted by both parties.
4. Payment Terms
Our payment terms are designed to be clear and fair for both trade and domestic clients.
- Payment terms will be confirmed in your written quotation or contract.
- For larger projects, we may request a deposit or agree a staged payment schedule.
- Trade and contract clients may be offered agreed credit terms, subject to prior arrangement.
- Invoices are payable within the timeframe stated on the invoice.
- Late payments may be subject to interest and reasonable recovery costs in line with applicable legislation.
Please keep your payment reference handy when making a payment, and contact us if you have any queries about your invoice.
5. Warranties and Guarantees
We take pride in delivering work that lasts. Our commitment to quality includes:
- Workmanship guarantee — all completed work is guaranteed, with details confirmed in writing for your project.
- Manufacturer warranties — as approved installers of Firestone, Sika, and Marley products, many installations qualify for manufacturer-backed warranties. Warranty terms are set by the manufacturer.
To keep your guarantee valid, please note:
- Repairs, alterations, or maintenance carried out by third parties may affect your warranty.
- Guarantees do not cover damage caused by extreme weather beyond design tolerances, accidental damage, misuse, or lack of reasonable maintenance.
- Full warranty details will be provided with your completed work.
6. Limitation of Liability
While we work to the highest professional standards, there are limits to our legal responsibility:
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from our services, except where required by law.
- Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the total value of the contract for the work in question.
- We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by events outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, supply shortages, or other circumstances beyond our control.
- Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under law.
7. Customer Responsibilities
To help your project run smoothly, we ask that you:
- Provide safe and reasonable access to the work site during agreed working hours.
- Share accurate information about the property, including any known issues or hazards.
- Obtain any necessary planning permissions or approvals before work begins, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
- Clear the work area where possible and protect or remove valuable items near the site.
- Report any concerns about the work to us promptly so we can address them.
Meeting these responsibilities helps us deliver your project on time and to the standard you expect.
